The purpose of this book is to investigate the plan of salvation as revealed through the sanctuary model. As we study, we will discover that everything in the sanctuary points to Christ and His work of redemption and salvation.
It reveals Christ as the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world (John 1:29). It points to Christ as the Light of the world (John 8:12) and as the living bread from heaven that gives eternal life (John 6:32-51).

The sanctuary links the mercy seat in the most holy place to Christ, who freely justifies the believer (Romans 3:24, 25). It also points to Christ as intercessor against the accusation of Satan and as a faithful and merciful High Priest, who is able to save to the uttermost (Hebrews 7:25). All this and much more is revealed through the sanctuary model.
