The Parables of Jesus: the Teachings of Jesus Christ (Book)

While the parables of Jesus were presented to a group of people living at a specific time and place, this book attempts to select those parables that have special application to those living in the 21s Century. Much of what Jesus presented in His parables-especially about the kingdom of God—is not bound by time, but has eternal consequences and forms a vital part of the everlasting gospel.

Our purpose in this book is to investigate the Plan of Salvation as revealed in the parables of Jesus. These parables not only illustrate Jesus’ redemptive mission as Savior of the world, but also point the way of life for a

true Christian who has accepted Christ as his or her Lord and Master.

The Parables of Jesus: The Teachings of Christ is the seventh in this series of books

written by Pastor Jack Sequeira, offered by Vineyard Ministries. The series includes: Romans “The Clearest Gospel of All”, Hebrews, Ephesians, Galatians, The Sermon on the Mount, and The Sanctuary: God’s Show and Tell.

They served as missionaries in Uganda, Kenya, and Ethiopia for 18 years and pastored in the US for 22 years. Jack earned his B.A. in Theology, in England, and M.A. in Systematic Theology, and M. Div. in the US.
